/Know fie:
WHEREAS, women in education constitute a great portion of the
work force and constantly strive to serve their
communities in educational, civic, cultural and
charitable programs; and
WHEREAS, major goals of ALPHA DELTA KAPPA, international honorary
sorority for women educators, include: to give
recognition to outstanding educators; to build a
fraternal fellowship among educators that will add to
their effectiveness in the promotion of excellence in
education; to establish high standards of education; to
promote education and charitable projects and activities
enriching the lives of individuals everywhere and
assisting these individuals in living happy,constructive
and fulfilling lives;
OEefIIP: I, Lester Dabbs, Jr. , by virtue of the authority
vested in me as Mayor of the City of Ocoee, Florida, do hereby
proclaim October 1991 as
ALPHA DELTA KAPPA MONTH
in the City of Ocoee, Florida to recognize the achievements of
Alpha Delta Kappa and encourage its continuation.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Seal
of the City of Ocoee, Florida to be affixed at Ocoee this 1st day
of October, in the year of our Lord nineteen hundred and ninety-
