RE: 1995 LEADERSHIP WEST ORANGE
On September 26, 1994, Commissioner Combs sent a memorandum to you on behalf of
the West Orange Chamber of Commerce requesting that Commissioner Jim Gleason
participate in Leadership West Orange.
The primary mission of the Leadership West Orange Program is to raise the awareness of the
key segments of the total West Orange Community among diverse participants. With
increased awareness and knowledge of our area as a whole, Class members become better
informed and prepared to lead West Orange in the future.
It is respectfully requested that the Honorable Mayor and Board of City Commissioners
authorize the expenditure of $500, which covers costs of meals and programs, to the West
Orange Chamber of Commerce for Commissioner Gleason to participate in the 1995
Leadership West Orange. This tuition must be received before December 9, 1994.
