SUBJECT: Withers-Maguire House Eave Trim, Change Order 5
Mitchell Building Contractors, Inc.
Included in the adoption of the FY94 Mid-Year Budget Amendment was $14,000 to install wood
eave trim on the Withers-Maguire House. This will complete the exterior roof work. Attached
is the proposal from Mitchell Building Contractors, Inc. for $13,272.00 for the work as outlined
in the Roof Specifications submitted by the Architect, approved by the Building Official, and
attached to Change Order 4. Change Order 5 adds this to their existing contract; since all the
exterior tasks save for the handicap ramp have been accomplished, this should be the final change
order to Mitchell.
Staff recommends approval of this proposal.
Action Requested
The Mayor and Board of City Commissioners (1) approve Change Order 5 to Mitchell Building
Contractors, Inc. in the amount of$13,272.00 for installation of wood eave trim and (2) authorize
the Mayor to execute.
