20 Years Frank Carlsson
Frank came to the City of Ocoee as a Volunteer Firefighter in 1981.
April of 1985, he was hired as a full-time Firefighter. Then in October,
Frank was promoted to Fire Engineer. He obtained his Paramedic
certification in 1986 and received a promotion. Moving up the ranks, Frank
became Lieutenant in March of 1994. In 1999, he completed his Associate
Degree in Fire Science. He is a member of the Florida Task Force 4 Team.
In 2004 he attended the National Fire Academy and will be attending again
this year. Frank's current position with the Ocoee Fire Department is
Battalion Chief in which he was promoted in January of 2004.
In his spare-time, Frank enjoys working around his farm. His hobby
is racing cars professionally.
Frank, thank you for your years of service to the City of Ocoee and
the citizens of Ocoee.
Along with his plaque, he will receive $250.00 gift certificate to
Home Depot as well as O.C. Tanner recognition gift, Case X-Changer
Folding Knife.
